Help Employees

How can you help EMPLOYEES to QUIT-GAMBLING effectively?

Are Shawn and Drew real people?

Yes, the Shawn and Drew characters are based on the real life reflections and insights of how Shawn Jordan and Drew Hartt overcame their once serious gambling addictions and the related problems that were created for them and their family and friends as a result of their problem gambling behaviours and activity.

Shawn Jordan wrote the original 21 Step manuscript and designed the step by step process, with the encouragement of his families psychologist and the help of his counsellor, in 2002.

Once Shawn felt an improvement in his own thinking, behaviours and perceptions related to gambling he shared the manuscript with his long time friend Drew Hartt who was working towards creating a state of recovery.

Drew is a very talented professional golfer who has played in PGA TOUR competition but has sidelined his career progression because of the distractions that he created due to gambling related problems for the past 15+ years. Today Drew is using the 21 Step system and methodology to help him build his recovery into a lasting state and return to the level of professional golf competition that will challenge his abilities to achieve his personal best.

Without the real life reflections and recovery oriented insights and experiences offered by Shawn and Drew, the program would not be as comprehensive, and personal as it is. You can find more information on both Shawn and Drew within our News section, or take a look HERE
